Tropical Roots was born from the collective concern of a few visionary individuals who recognized the declining quality of food products in the market — including poor hygiene during production, wastage of agricultural produce due to inefficient in-house cold chain systems, and the lack of adherence to global food production standards.

From frozen Kerala vegetables, fruits, and grains to spices and other ingredients, everything is carefully picked, cleaned, and processed under prescribed temperature-controlled conditions. Tropical Roots is located in the picturesque state of Kerala in the south of India, where flavours and culinary traditions are known to the world. Upholding the culinary heritage of offering warm hospitality over mouth-watering meals, Tropical Roots goes beyond geographical boundaries and includes in its list of products, authentic dishes from across the world.

Plant spread across 17,600 Sq.ft in Cochin and houses ultra-modern machinery imported from around the world. Intended for specific purposes like products derived from coconut and vegetable processing, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools to ensure the streamlined production of a myriad of food products, all set to travel the world.

By collaborating with suppliers and distributor agents, these products reach their destination in the most hygienic of conditions under prescribed temperature and packaging methods, adhering to global standards at all times.

The Roots Behind Tropical Roots

The 7 men Army, being classmates-turned-business partners who believe that there's so much more they can accomplish together through the determined and positive spirit that drive all seven of them. Business running in all their veins, they enrolled for the Executive MBA Program at B-School International after running successful businesses for years. Here's where they met, friendship blossomed and eventually culminated into the venture called TropicalRoots India Private Limited.
